08 Jul TEAM DA-TOR ISB in the Maratona Dles Dolomites
Five athletes of the Da-Tor/Isb team participated in the most classic cycling race of the international calendar. We are talking about the Maratona Dles Dolomitas, a competition that welcomed more than 8,000 athletes, in which the cyclists had to overcome in addition to the ports, water and wind. We are in Corvara, and as is tradition, at 6:30 am, the start is given in the town of La Villa.
Three routes are on the program.
Spectacular and impressive is the Marathon route with its 138 km and a drop of 4230 meters, with the Campolongo (1875 mt), Passo Pordoi (2239 mt), Sella Pass (2244 mt), Gardena Pass (2121 m), the Giau Pass (2236 m), the Valparola Pass (2200 m), and the Mur dl Giat (1472 m). Definitely in the piece our two athletes Francesco Figini (16th overall) and Andrea Miotto (22nd overall) who file their tests sixth among the masters 3 (40/44 years) and third in masters 4 (45/49).
The Medium course offered 106 km (dsl 3130 meters) with the climbs of Campolongo, Pordoi, Sella Gardena, Valparola and the Giat. Sixth place in master 1 category (30/34 years) Matteo Moltoni (excellent 11th place overall) and master 3 (40/44) Federico Brevi (28th overall). On the Sellaronda route (55 km with a dsl of 1780 mt) with climbs to Campolongo, Pordoi, Sella and Gardena, competed Matteo Rigamonti, with the cyclist finished 43rd among the 5 masters (50/54).
