VolCAT Igualada: Three Intense Days, Outstanding Results
At the VolCAT Igualada, a challenging three-day stage race, the riders from ISB Factory Team put on a great show and delivered some standout performances.
Martí kicked things off with a strong start, securing an impressive third place in the elite category on stage one. Despite a mechanical issue on the second day that took him out of contention for the overall podium, he came back determined on the final stage, finishing fourth and earning a spot in the top 10 overall.
Sergio played a key role throughout the weekend. He worked as a team player in the first stage to support Martí, then stole the spotlight in stage two with a dominant victory, crossing the line with nearly two minutes of advantage. He returned to the podium on the final day with a second-place finish in the elite category, wrapping up the race with a brilliant second place overall.
In the Under-23 category, Álex showed great consistency across all three stages, which earned him a well-deserved fifth place in the general classification of his category.
International Podium in Croatia
Meanwhile, on the rugged trails of Croatia, the team was also celebrating a strong performance at the prestigious 4Islands MTB Croatia. Pili, teaming up with Constanza from the Cannondale ISB squad, delivered a flawless race. The pair showed strength and consistency throughout all stages, which led them to a well-earned third place finish in the overall team standings.
