{"id":53886,"date":"2023-02-06T10:00:43","date_gmt":"2023-02-06T09:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/isbsport.com\/scott-cala-bandida-la-leyenda-de-tartessos\/"},"modified":"2023-02-08T10:38:22","modified_gmt":"2023-02-08T09:38:22","slug":"scott-cala-bandida-la-leyenda-de-tartessos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isbsport.com\/en\/scott-cala-bandida-la-leyenda-de-tartessos\/","title":{"rendered":"Scott Cala Bandida at La Leyenda de Tartessos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend has been held for the second consecutive year in the province of Huelva, <a href=\"https:\/\/laleyendadetartessos.com\/\">La Leyenda de Tartessos<\/a>, a marathon MTB test that is part of the UCI calendar in category S2 BTT Marathon and runs through the beauties of the province of Huelva touring areas such as the pine forests of Cartaya, the border with Portugal, the mining area, etc.<\/p>\n<p>This year we have been able to see several novelties with respect to the test of the last course, such as the modification of the stages, being in this edition circular (removing the first, where the distance between departure and arrival is very small), a greater presence of human resources to control everything, a better evolution in the contents of the refreshments, etc.<\/p>\n<p>In this tough test, which this year has had a participation of more than 450 participants, with teams at national and international level, it is divided into 4 stages. This is the distribution of them:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">STAGE 1: ROCAS, PINOS Y PLAYA<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Distance: 63 km<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Unevennes: 900 m<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Start: Cartanya<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Arrival: El Rompido<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">STAGE 2: LA LUZ DEL AND\u00c9VALO<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Distance: 65 km<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Unevenness: 1500 m<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Start: El Granado<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Arrival: El Granado<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">STAGE 3: EL CORAZ\u00d3N DE LA TIERRA<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Distance: 92 km<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Unevenness: 2500 m<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Start: Valverde del Camino<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Arrival: Valverde del Camino<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">STAGE 4: LA CRONO DE EL ROMPIDO<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Distance: 25 km<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Unevenness: 400 m<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Start: Paseo mar\u00edtimo de El Rompido<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 120px\">Arrival: Paseo mar\u00edtimo de El Rompido<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the stage with more trails of the edition, the first, where the great protagonists were the stones, Mantec\u00f3n managed to be in sixth position, Josemari S\u00e1nchez had a mishap that forced him to abandon later, although he managed to be in an eleventh position and Pablo Guerrero for his part was P17.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-53921 size-large\" https:\/\/isbsport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/CCN_3221-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/isbsport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/CCN_3221-90x60.jpg 90w, https:\/\/isbsport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/CCN_3221-135x90.jpg 135w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The second stage, which had a final stretch between singletracks with slopes and natural rockgardens, ended with Mantec\u00f3n in the thirteenth position and Pablo in the twentieth position.<\/p>\n<p>In the queen stage that started on Saturday, with 92km by delate and 2,500 meters of altitude and with climbs to Pe\u00f1as Blancas, the Angliru de Valverde and El Manzanito, it did not end up being the best day for the ISB Sport ambassador team, who did not get their best feelings.<\/p>\n<p>In Sunday&#8217;s stage, the last one, the riders finished positioning themselves and the test ended with the ISB Sport ambassador team, Scott Cala Bandida, placing Sergio Mantec\u00f3n and Pablo Guerrero among the top 20 classified, and Josemari S\u00e1nchez, who as we have already mentioned, was forced to abandon after a crash in the first stage.<\/p>\n<p>Next up for Scott Cala Bandida&#8217;s team is the Mediterranean Epic that will be held from February 9 to 12.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend has
