Felipe Orts and La Vila Joiosa – N\u00e9teo, ambassador of ISB Sport, added a top-10 in his first contact with gravel in Castell\u00f3n. The rider from Alicante suffered a puncture on the first descent that forced him to make a great comeback to cross the finish line in eighth position.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Llucena hosted this morning the start of the Castell\u00f3n Gravel Race<\/strong> with Felipe Orts<\/strong> as one of its ambassadors. The large influx of public gave wings to the rider of the Vila, who signed a good start to be placed in the leading positions in the early stages of the race. Unfortunately, a puncture on the first descent forced him to stop and drop positions to rejoin the race in 30th place.<\/p>\n

Far from giving up, Felipe Orts <\/strong>put the direct with a very solid pace to gain positions to be placed in the fight for the top-5 in a sensational comeback. Bad luck struck again with the rider from Alicante, who suffered another puncture in the final stages to be relegated to eighth place. A result that does not reflect the good feelings of the Alicante rider in his first gravel race of the season, showing a great form encouraging for the next commitments.<\/p>\n

The next appointment for the rider from Vila will be the Rioja Bike Race<\/strong>, where Felipe Orts will return to the mountain bike to compete in a race that will consist of three stages starting on May 17.<\/p>\n
