Another great day for Team corratec – Vini Fantini, with Davide Baldaccini coming within a hair’s breadth of success at the Huzhu finish line.<\/p>\n

In the second stage, which took the athletes from the town of Duoba to Huzhu over a 112.3 km route characterized by three climbs\u2014one first-category climb in the first kilometers of the race and two third-category climbs\u2014the Lombard rider, who had already won on the same course the previous year, managed to stay with the best despite the extremely high pace of the stage. He launched an attack along with seven other riders in the final stages of the race, but was eventually overtaken by Eric Antonio Fagundez in the final\u00a0sprint.<\/p>\n
