10 Ott Cannondale Vas Arabay takes it all at Titan Desert Almeria
Today the Titan Desert Almería has finished and the Cannondale Vas Arabay, ISB Sport ambassador team, has demonstrated its dominance in a competition with four stages through the deserts of Almería. The team’s runners shone in the men’s and women’s categories, demonstrating their strength and skills in this challenge through the largest desert in Europe.
The first stage was masterfully conquered by Fran Herrero, who demonstrated his skill and determination by placing himself as the leader and not leaving this position during the 4 stages. In the general classification, Miguel Muñoz stood out as the second classified behind his teammate Fran Herrero, further consolidating the dominant position of Cannondale Vas Arabay, also winning the last stage. Fran won in the first stage and Miguel has won in the second and fourth stages. Additionally, World Tour cyclists participated in the men’s category and the pace in the stages was very high.
In the women’s category, Tessa Kortekaas was the great protagonist, winning all the stages and achieving first place in the general classification, demonstrating her superiority and skill in the desert.
Mónica Calderón, despite the tough competition, showed great determination and effort in the stages of the Titan Desert Almería and achieved a notable fourth place in the overall women’s classification, an outstanding achievement in this highly competitive event.
Without a doubt a Titan Desert Almería with a very good taste in the mouth for our team, we know that this would not have been possible without the support of ASIC, taking care of our runners and their bikes at the beginning and end of each stage.
