Five athletes from the Lecco-based Team Da- Tor/Isb, were at the start of the Granfondo Sestriere Colle delle Finestre, a cycling event on road that was held on Saturday, July 20. July.

The athletes competed on two routes: granfondo and mediofondo, both with a climb to the Colle delle Finestre. They started from Sestriere Borgata to climb up Sestriere and then begin the descent towards Cesana T.se, Oulx and along the entire valley Susa as far as the main town. Here began the climb of 18 km of the Colle delle Finestre via Meana di Susa: a unique climb, characterized by the last 7.8-kilometer stretch of dirt road that took us back to the epic dimension of cycling, the one made of dust and fatigue that made the Granfondo Sestriere unique. Colle delle Finestre. Reaching the summit of the Colle we descend to Pourries to resume the climb to Pragelato and the arrival of the mediofondo in Sestriere (98.8 km of the race). The most prepared can continue in the final loop: Sestriere, Sauze di Cesana, Cesana, Sestriere to complete the route of granfondo with a total of 121.5 km.

In the long track great test of Francesco Figini (3h12’19”) who conquers a brilliant fifth place overall, taking second place in the Senior 2 category. Also finishing his effort was Franco Divitini (356th overall in 5h58’05”) 23rd in the Supergentlemen A.

On the ‘other course, the Da-Tor/Isb brand comes into highlights thanks to the podiums won by the three athletes in race. Wonderful performance of Andrea Miotto, fourth overall, and second in Veterans 1 (3h50’54”).
