06 Mag Patxi Peula shines at Terras do Infante 2025
Double gold, Top 5 overall and full gas in Portugal
Spanish speed skater Patxi Peula made a strong statement last weekend at the Terras do Infante International Tournament 2025, held in Lagos, Portugal, from April 11 to 13. With nearly 700 skaters from all over the world, this record-breaking edition once again proved why it’s one of the top events on the global inline speed skating calendar.
All out on track and road
Patxi delivered the goods with two incredible wins, gold in the 5k Points Race and in the 42 km Marathon, two of the toughest races on the schedule. Thanks to his consistency and grit, he also clinched a solid fifth place overall.
Grateful for the vibes and ready for more
After the event, Patxi took to social media to thank the organizers and the city of Lagos for putting on such a world-class event with an unbeatable atmosphere and top tier competition.
No time to rest, though he’s already gearing up for the third stage of the Speed Track Series, happening this weekend in Senigallia, Italy, this time with a few key reinforcements joining the squad.
Patxi keeps proving he’s still got what it takes top form, the right mindset, and that never give up spirit that defines champions.
