21 Lug PODIUM OF THE FIM WORLDSSP CHALLENGE
Team Renzi Corse can return home from Autodrom Most satisfied after scoring more important championship points and taking the Race 2 win with Simone Corsi in the FIM WorldSSP Challenge.
Sunday brought hot and sunny conditions, the day’s track action starting with warm-up at 9:40. Simone headed out for the brief session with the intention of rebuilding his feeling after a race 1 crash, caused after the Italian came into contact with another rider. Corsi completed the warm-up in tenth place.
At 3.15pm it was time for the race. The Italian made another fast start and was immediately up inside the points zone, battling for the top ten. Despite the high temperatures, Simone was able to maintain a strong pace and achieve eleventh place as well as another win in the FIM World SSP Challenge, with the Italian team once again demonstrating its great potential.
