SCOTT Cala Bandida a por el Mundial de Gravel

SCOTT Cala Bandida riders, ISB SPORT ambassadors, will represent Spain at the Gravel World Championships!
José Mari Sánchez and Enrique Morcillo will represent the Spanish elite team at the Gravel World Championships.

Limburg (Netherlands) – The world championship race will be held on October 11 and 12 in the Zuid-Limburg region, on a demanding route of approximately 180 km with gravel sections, rural roads, and iconic climbs such as the Bronsdalweg.
Being part of this selection is a result of the strong performances shown by both cyclists throughout the season in the Gravel World Cups. This season, both got off to a strong start in the discipline: in the first round of the 2025 UCI Gravel World Cup, between Portugal and Extremadura, Enrique Morcillo won the bronze medal and José Mari Sánchez took silver.

Furthermore, in the last Gravel World Cup held during the Sea Otter in Girona, both riders showed great performance—especially José Mari Sánchez, who remained in the front positions throughout the race—although neither was able to finish the race due to mechanical problems.
For SCOTT Cala Bandida, this event represents a prestigious milestone: seeing its riders wear the colors of Spain in a race of this magnitude reaffirms the value of the project, the commitment, and the sustained growth of the team.
