Top 10 Finish for Alcoba in Most

The Kawasaki WorldSSP Team kicked off Round 5 of the championship with solid pace at the Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic. Despite a Superpole session compromised by another rider’s mistake, Jeremy Alcoba showed grit and potential aboard the Ninja ZX-6R, crossing the line in a hard-fought tenth place in the weekend’s opening race.

Starting from the fifth row of the grid (P13) and under cool, dry conditions, Alcoba managed the 19-lap race with intelligence and determination. After a strong start that allowed him to hold position, the Spanish rider steadily closed the gap to the riders ahead, eventually securing a spot in the top ten and bagging six valuable points, which move him up to eighth in the overall standings with 66 points.

Post-Race Thoughts

Alcoba explained that the opening laps were a challenge, as the bike’s setup was pushing Alcoba admitted that the early laps were tough, as the bike setup was pushing hard, making the Ninja feel a bit unsettled. But as the race wore on — with less fuel onboard and tyre wear kicking in — he found a much better rhythm and began lapping with solid pace. Growing more confident with each lap, Alcoba was able to close in on the group ahead, although time ran out before he could challenge for higher positions. Still, he was encouraged by the strong feeling in the final laps, and is confident that if he starts Sunday’s race with the same pace, he can put in an even stronger performance.

Now, all focus shifts to Sunday’s second and final race, where Alcoba will look to take another step forward and fight for the front group.

The goal is clear: keep climbing the standings and wrap up the weekend with a strong result.
