For Team Renzi Corse, the Donington Park round ends with a victory for rider Simone Corsi in the FIM World SSP Challenge. Once again, the Italian team was able to showcase its potential in the race.
At 15:15 local time (CET-1) it was time for Race 2. Simone made a great start when the lights went out, immediately making up four positions. On lap two an incident between two riders saw the race halted with a red flag. This meant that Corsi had to start over, lining up for the restarted race of just twelve laps. As the race got underway, Simone was not immediately able to reach the top fifteen but thanks to a consistent pace, the Italian was able to score a solid thirteenth place finish. The team headed up Stefano Renzi thus maintains its lead in the European classification.
