26 Giu Tessa Kortekaas Spanish XCM Champion
Cannondale Isb Sport returns with two medals from the Spanish XCM 2024 championship. Tessa Kortekaas was proclaimed champion of Spain xcm last Sunday in Lalín, after a demanding race with 86kms and 2500 meters of elevation gain.
Already in the first steep climb Tessa took the lead and did not let go of the first place until the finish line, halfway through the race she had an advantage of almost 3 minutes over the second classified that with hard effort she was able to regulate until the end.
Also in the women’s category, Cannondale isb Sport rider Meritxell Figueras took the start. Txell did not have such a good day and abandoned at km 63 due to physical problems.
In the U23 category Roger Ferrer climbed to the third step of the final podium with a great race always riding in the top 15 overall.
Adrian Garcia took the start in the elite category and with a race from less to more finished in a satisfactory eleventh position.
