However, the extremely high pace set by the Italian riders, who know the terrain of Elba Island perfectly, eventually made the difference during the decisive moments of the race.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Samuele finished as the team\u2019s best rider in 13th place, closely followed by David Valero in 14th.
