The Tour of Hellas concludes with a double triumph for the Team corratec – Vini Fantini, ambassador of ISB Sport: Attilio Viviani conquers the podium in the final stage in Athens, while Valerio Conti secures a brilliant third place in the general classification.
Despite the difficulties of the last stage, characterized by a first part in line followed by a very technical final circuit in the heart of Athens for a total of 132.5 km, the impeccable work of the team allowed the Veronese rider to maintain an excellent position in the group, saving energy and making a crucial comeback, thus narrowly missing the victory in this final fraction.
Valerio Conti also demonstrates an excellent performance, who after a solid initial time trial and the podium in the queen stage, managed the last stages with intelligence, without taking risks and losing time, thus ensuring a well-deserved third place in the general classification.
