A weekend of great results for the ISB Factory Team Cyclistwork!

Intense start in the Spanish Cup

This weekend started the Spanish Cup with the first test in the JamonBike, held in Calamocha. An appointment that we faced with much desire, since the long and demanding course was perfectly adapted to the profile of our runners. From the first bars, a header group of ten runners made differences, with Sergio and Martí well positioned. As the race progressed and the track became harder, the group was selected until, unfortunately, Martí took off.

Sergio, for his part, was able to stay in the fight until the end and, after an intense battle, crossed the finish line in a meritoria fourth position elite. Ferran, affected by stomach problems, could not complete the test, while Álex signed an excellent eighth place under-23, in a race of very high level. In the women’s category, Pilar was always in the fight for victory; although the winner managed to open a gap, she remained firm to close a brilliant second position.

Strong Performance at the Catalan Cups

The team was also present in Catalonia for the second round of the Catalan XCM Cup, where they faced an extremely demanding course—challenging not only due to the elevation and distance, but also because of the technical terrain, filled with loose rocks. The day was marked by crashes and mechanical issues, which unfortunately forced Joan Hornero, Joel López, and Roger Campo—who was particularly impacted—to abandon the race.

Despite the difficulties, the team once again proved its strength. Dan delivered a solid performance, finishing sixth in the elite category, which allows him to hold onto third place in the overall standings.

In the under-23 category, the team also achieved excellent results. Franc de Cruz finished sixth, Marc Admetlla secured an impressive fourth place despite a mechanical failure with his dropper post, and Ignasi earned a well-deserved third place, stepping onto the podium.

The team was also represented in the Catalan Gravel Cup, during a fast and demanding race in Cardona.

Víctor stayed with the lead group throughout the race, consistently closing gaps and giving his all, which earned him an excellent fourth place in the elite category, narrowly missing the podium.

Joana launched a long solo breakaway until a mechanical issue prevented her from maintaining her lead. Even so, she reached the final sprint shoulder to shoulder with the race leader and finished in a fantastic second place.

All our support to the team! We wish them the best of luck in the upcoming races!
