17 Oct Brazil Ride Bay with Cannondale TBelles
This October 23, the south of Bahia, better known as the Discovery Coast, hosts the world’s premier premium mountain bike stage race, the 12th edition of the Brasil Ride. A hard test of 7 days and 7 stages and a total of 600 km with a positive slope of 13,000 m. Cyclists will depart from Porto Seguro-Arraial d’Ajuda and head inland, traversing the mountains that divide the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais.
In this test, we can enjoy the participation of the Spanish Roberto Bou, cyclist of the Cannondale TBelles team and ambassador of ISB Sport. Bou will travel this Thursday to Brazil after having thoroughly checked his bike trying to scare away the breakdowns that have played such bad tricks on him this year.
After his participation in the World Championship, Bou arrives in a great moment of form, which he will try to extend in this edition of the Brasil Ride, which is presented as one of the favorites for the podium.
In this new stage of the Brasil Ride Bahia, the service and infrastructure that the test will have during the 7 days stands out. Cyclists will have a buffet breakfast that will be served on camping days in Guaratinga, several hydration points, water points and dispersion points that have water, isotonic drinks, fruit and hydrates available.
On the other hand, it also offers runners; a medical team specialized in rescue in remote areas, ICU ambulances, motorcycles with paramedics on the road, as well as a medical post in the sands of Brasil Ride fully equipped to attend to emergencies.
Also, in Guaratinga, individual tents will be available, with mats and sheets and in the Brasil Ride Lounge (chill area), athletes can find comfort and enjoy drinks, meals, massages and Internet connection.
