Another great day for Team corratec – Vini Fantini, ambassadors of ISB Sport, as Davide Baldaccini becomes the leader of the GPM classification in the Tour of Slovenia, thus earning the privilege of wearing the prestigious indigo jersey.
Starting in a breakaway with 5 other riders from the very first kilometers of this second stage, which took the athletes from Žalec to Rogaška Slatina over a 177.9 km route, the Lombard rider skillfully optimized his effort during the second-category climb of Celjska koča, crossing the summit finish line first and consequently earning the necessary points to become the leader of the mountain classification.
