ISB-Cyclistwork Factory Team Report on the Andalucía Bike Race and the Catalan Cup
From February 20th to March 1st, the ISB-Cyclistwork Factory Team competed in the Andalucía Bike Race and the Catalan Cup, demonstrating strength in the overall standings and securing a podium finish in the U23 category. All of this was achieved using ISB Sport bearings.
Andalucía Bike Race 2026: Strength in the Overall Standings and a Fight to the End
Another participation in the demanding Andalucía Bike Race saw the team once again demonstrate its character in this top-level stage race. Guti and Martí delivered a strong performance, maintaining consistency throughout the week and achieving a top-15 finish in the overall standings.
Jaume and Ferran battled for positions close to the top 15 for much of the race, but a mechanical issue on the penultimate stage prevented them from continuing their fight for the overall title. In the women’s category, crashes and mechanical problems hampered performance, preventing them from competing for the top positions. However, they still managed to finish the race in 7th place overall, demonstrating resilience and the ability to endure.
Catalan XCM Cup – El Vendrell
The second round of the Catalan XCM Cup in El Vendrell was marked by close marking in the early stages, where most riders were dropped. In this demanding environment, Franc de Cruz achieved a solid 11th place in the elite category. Jofre climbed onto the U23 podium with a great 3rd place. Oriol Sanz finished the race in 18th place in the elite category, maintaining a consistent pace on a very tactical course.
