Great performance of Felipe Orts and La Vila Joiosa Néteo in the Spanish XCO Championship. The rider from Alicante, who crossed the finish line in fourth position, fought for the third place on the podium until the final stages. With the aim of fighting for the top positions, Felipe Orts started this morning the XCO race in El Almendro (Huelva). From the first stages, the rider from La Vila made clear his strategy, regular and find a cruising speed to arrive with good legs to the final stretch. The plan began to bear fruit and the rider from Alicante, from less to more, remained in the upper zone fighting for the podium for several laps. Finally, Orts gave up a few meters to cross the finish line in fourth place, a great result to put the finishing touch to the mountain bike season.
On the other hand, on Friday he also competed in the short track race and was in first position at the start. An explosive race, with many changes of pace where Felipe Orts felt very comfortable, fighting with the best.
