JAPAN GP CHRONICLE SAG TEAM

We leave you with the summary of the Japanese GP where the ambassador of ISB Sport, Mandalika Pertamina SAG Team has achieved a very good Top 10.

The bikes have arrived at the Japanese GP! The motorcycle championship has landed this weekend at the Motegi circuit where there have been endless exciting races throughout its long history. This has been an important weekend for ISB Sport’s Moto2 ambassador Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team. Especially for the newly incorporated Taiga Hada who ran at home.

Typhoon Talas was the protagonist during the qualifying session. Faced with the uncertainty that was lived in the pits the drivers decided to ride  as soon as possible to set their times during Q1, the Japanese driver stayed in this first qualifying session. Bo Bedsneyder managed to reach position 15 for Sunday’s starting grid in a Q2 marked by the red flag due to rain.

On Sunday he arrived and the Dutch driver made an exceptional race getting a comeback to enter the top 10. A very exciting race with very entertaining battles for the eyes of the fans reached the checkered flag with Bedsneyder in ninth position thus getting 7 points for the championship.

Bo Bendsneyder #64

“It was a good race, with great battles up to the Top Ten. I had a good start, with good first laps. Then, during the course of the race, it was more difficult for me to overtake, I suffered a lot at the beginning with the rear, but on the other hand we were strong until the last laps. Very happy with my Top Ten, I want to thank my team because they have done an exceptional job to give me the best bike possible, especially because we hardly had time to ride with the dry track. I can’t wait for the next race in Thailand!”

The second Hada rider has also done a good job on his local circuit crossing the finish line in 17th position that although he does not take points at the end of the weekend, reinforces his confidence for the next races.

Next weekend these drivers will meet again at another Asian circuit, Thailand.
