The Titan Desert Morocco is just around the corner, next April 29 will begin this edition of the Titan Desert in which we will see ambassadors of ISB Sport.
The Škoda Titan Desert Morocco is much more than a MTB race. There are six days of challenge, with constant sporting and personal challenges. A unique experience in which participants will measure their limits on the bike. You cannot understand the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco without the place in which it takes place. Morocco saw the birth of the event and, 17 editions later, continues to surprise with its variety of landscapes and possibilities to live the best sports experiences.
The 23rd edition of the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco is full of contrasts, between mountains and desert. The test is divided into 6 stages.
Stage 1 (Boumalne Dades – Boumalne Dades)
An exceptional day to start the adventure of the Titan with one of the most aesthetic and innovative stages in the history of the race. This stage is 89km long and runs along an unprecedented track in the Atlas area, with a constant climb that ends almost at 2,200 meters of altitude.
Stage 2 – Škoda we love cycling (Boumalne Dades – Nkob)
This is the first online stage of the race and, although it is a mountain day, there will be no major slopes. 106km of route and a slope of 1,830 meters. At the end of the stage we will discover the first camp of the race, at the foot of one of the most bustling towns in the area.
Stage 3 – Kosner Saltoki Home (Nkob – Fezzou)
First sector of the marathon stage, in which participants will not be able to count on external mechanical or personal help at the end of the stage. This is also the queen stage of this edition due to its length (129km) and variety of terrain. It begins in the mountains, travels through stony sections, to finally reach the desert. Once the section with more than 1,110 meters of unevenness has been passed, the participants will live an unforgettable night of coexistence and self-sufficiency, in what will be the camp with the most atmosphere of the entire race.
Stage 4 (Fezzou – Merzouga)
Second sector of the marathon stage with 133km and 1,146 meters of altitude. The day begins with a fast track that will take runners to a spectacular viewpoint in the middle of a large plain. From there begins a stretch of navigation maintaining the fixed course until reaching a passage of sand and stone.
Stage 5 (Merzouga – Merzouga)
The Škoda Titan Desert Morocco returns with a classic: the looping stage around the various dune belts in the Merzouga region. After an unprecedented departure from the camp, the dunes begin on tracks and canyons that are less and less obvious and twisty. This test is 98km long and 933m in altitude.
Stage 6 (Merzouga – Maadid)
Last stage of the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco. A day with a lot of variety of terrain and that will take the Titans to the classic finale in Maadid. This last stage has 71km and 575m of altitude.
The participants of this test are experienced cyclists who want to live the unique experience of having finished a Titan Desert. Among these participants we will find ISB Sport ambassador teams such as Cannondale VAS Arabay who will fight to get the best possible position.
