Miotto wins his category.
The Team Da-Tor/Isb group completed their final competitive engagements.
Four cyclists from the Lecco team competed in the GF Internazionale road race, a 91km race with 1,790 meters of elevation gain, starting from the sea and finishing uphill towards the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia. The race took place in the Ligurian hinterland, crossing the Arroscia and Impero Valleys, and features very little flat terrain and several challenging climbs. The route is entirely on asphalt, with breathtaking scenery.
Andrea Miotto delivered a splendid performance, finishing seventh overall and winning his Veteran 1 category.
In the top ten of his category, Daniele Rainoldi (19th overall) finished seventh in the Junior category, as did Christian Milani (62nd overall), seventh in the Veteran 1 category. A round of applause also went to Davide Evanto (145th overall), who finished eighteenth in the Veteran 1 category.
