At ISB Sport, we are proud to support the SCOTT Cala Bandida team once again this year, as they embark on a 2026 season full of challenges, ambition, and great opportunities. Following the restructuring that began last season, the team arrives hungry and motivated, with the clear objective of establishing itself among the leading marathon and gravel bike teams.
The addition of Alberto Barroso, one of the most promising young riders on the national scene, represents an investment in the future. After competing at the highest international level in the XCO World Cup, Alberto joins the project and takes on a new challenge in his career: the leap to marathon bike racing, a challenge he faces with confidence and total commitment.
The team core remains strong, with José Mari Sánchez and Enrique Morcillo continuing their commitment to the project and their ambition undiminished after their impressive 2025 season.
The SCOTT Cala Bandida team will once again focus on some of the most important stage races on the national scene, such as the SCOTT Mediterranean Epic MTB, the Andalucía Bike Race by Garmin, and the Far West SCOTT, while keeping a major international goal in mind: the Cape Epic, one of the most prestigious and demanding races in the world, where they aspire to compete against the best global teams.
The gravel project will continue to grow, combining competition with adventure. In addition to participating in the most demanding races on the calendar, the team will also focus on bikepacking events, showcasing another side of gravel riding, more linked to exploration and self-sufficiency, in challenges like Badlands and Kilómetro Cero.
This scenario reflects how performance and enjoyment can go hand in hand, values that we at ISB Sport share as sponsors committed to the team, which, with a consolidated squad, a signing with great potential and a clear sporting ambition, faces the 2026 season with the determination to continue growing and making its mark in every race, and we are proud to accompany them in every step of this exciting project.
