Stage victory and 9 podiums for the Cannondale-ISB Sport team, in the Andalucía Bike Race 2024

We continue the season with great results achieved in the Andalucía Bike Race, a UCI top category SHC competition.

The Cannondale-ISB Sport team has stood out with a total of 9 podiums for our riders, highlighting the victory in the last stage thanks to Meritxell Figueras and Claudia Peretti.

In addition, we cannot overlook the impressive second and third place in the overall classification, achieved by the pairs of riders P2 Meritxell Figueras-Claudia Peretti and P3 Monica Calderon-Tessa Kortekaas.

The outstanding performance of Meritxell Figueras and Claudia Peretti is a source of great pride, as is the determination and competitiveness demonstrated by Monica Calderon and Tessa Kortekaas despite the health challenges they faced during the competition.

While we regret that Riccardo Chiarini and Adrian Garcia did not perform as well as expected in the men’s category, each race represents a valuable learning opportunity for our team.

It is wonderful to see how the team has used the Andalucía Bike Race as preparation for important events of the season, such as the Absa Cape Epic.

We also congratulate the organization, media, medical services and volunteers for making this event so successful.

The live streaming of the last stage and the timing model have been very positive aspects that have enriched the race experience for all involved. May the success continue in the next competitions!
