JAKUB MARECZKO SECURES 3RD PLACE IN THE 1ST STAGE OF THE TOUR DE HONGRIE
A great start for Team corratec – Vini Fantini, ambassador of ISB Sport, which takes third place with Jakub Mareczko in the first stage of the Tour de Hongrie.
The stage, covering 166 km from Karcag to Hajduszoboszlo and characterized by a relatively gentle altitude profile, saw riders maintain a steady pace until the final kilometers, when the day’s breakaway was neutralized. From that moment, the pace in the peloton increased, accompanied by heightened stress, culminating in a significant crash just a few hundred meters from the finish line. However, Mareczko, fresh from his victory at the Trofeo del Porto last Sunday, demonstrated skill and agility in staying at the front positions, avoiding the crash and sprinting towards this deserved podium, which fuels hopes for the upcoming stages.
