Team Technipes inEmiliaRomagna prepares for the Giro Next Gen

The most important stage race for U23 teams will also feature Team Technipes inEmiliaRomagna, included among the 29 formations competing from Sunday, June 9 to Sunday, June 16, 2024. Among the 29 teams at the start are as many as 14 “development” formations linked to UciWorldTeams and UciProTeams.

The Next Gen Giro kicks off on Sunday, June 9, with an 8.8-kilometer time trial in Aosta, then concludes on Sunday, June 16, with the Cesena-Forlimpopoli, after touching on five regions: Aosta Valley, Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna.

At the start Ludovico Crescioli, class of 2003, already on the podium at the Giro del Belvedere and the Trofeo Città di San Vendemiano and fourth in the standings at the Ronde de l’Isard, who has just returned from an away trip to the Czech Rep. with the national team; together with him the other Tuscan Andrea Sergiampietri, the Romagnoli Nicholas Scarpelli and Pietro Dapporto, the Emilian Filippo Omati and the Lazio Pietro Sterbini. One of the most anticipated moments of the season for the world’s best U23 cyclists has arrived: the start of the Giro Next Gen.

It is an ambition shared by the entire lineup management, including team manager Mario Chiesa and sports directors Michele Coppolillo, Francesco Chicchi, Mauro Calzoni and Alberto Contoli, with Gian Luca Giardini as project manager.

Stage 2 (10/06): Aymavilles-Saint-Vincent

Stage 3 (11/06): Verrès-Pian della Mussa (Balme – Ala di Stura)

Stage 4 (12/06): Pertusio-Borgomanero

Stage 5 (13/06): Bergamo (Kilometro Rosso)-Cremona

Stage 6 (14/06): Borgo Virgilio-Fosse (Sant’Anna d’Alfaedo)

Stage 7 (15/06): Montegrotto Terme-Zocca

Stage 8 (16/06): Cesena-Forlimpopoli
