10 Jul Tiago Rodrigues will defend the goal of the Liceo
The Portuguese goalkeeper signs for three years in a move sponsored by ISB Sport.
Deportivo Liceo 23/24 completes the goalkeeping with Tiago Rodrigues (Portugal, 1998) in a move carried out by ISB Sport. The young goalkeeper signs for three years and will be, together with Martí Serra, in charge of defending the green and white goalposts.
Rodrigues joins from FC Porto, the Portuguese hockey giants, where he arrived in 2019 after training at Cambra, Oliveirense and Sanjoanense. Despite his youth (24 years old), the new Liceu goalkeeper has plenty of experience in his country’s top flight and in the WSE Champions League.
He is a regular goalkeeper with Portugal’s youth teams. With the Under-20s, he was World Champion in 2015 and 2017, as well as European Champion in 2016, always at a young age. He was also continental champion in 2013 with the U-17 team.
The new addition joins the rest of the players confirmed for the 23/24 season: Sito Ricart, the renewed César Carballeira, Dava Torres, Fabri Ciocale, Fran Torres, Martí Serra and the newcomer Bruno Saavedra. The club continues working on new signings to complete a squad that will continue to fight for as many titles as possible.
