TRIUMPH AT THE CAPE EPIC 2025

TRIUMPH AT THE CAPE EPIC 2025

The 3 Cannondale ISB Sport teams made their mark in the most demanding XCM race in the world! They have shown endurance, commitment and teamwork.

Brutal performance by Monica and Tessa

Two stage wins and two second places, demonstrating an impressive level of performance. Despite the tough blow on Stage 3, the team’s fight and unity led them to a spectacular fourth place overall, just two minutes off the podium. How proud to see them give it their all until the very end!

Costanza and Stefanie constant evolution

Costanza and Stefanie evolved day by day, finding their best form and achieving a 10th place finish overall. A tremendous effort and determination in their first Cape Epic together.

Our warriors Peter and Chiaro

They overcame stomach problems at the start of the week to finish with a top nine finish on the sixth stage and 16th overall. A clear demonstration of resilience and perseverance.

17 years at the top of international MTB

From the mechanics and physiotherapists to filmmaker Bigotet, everyone has been a fundamental part of this adventure. As always, the Tomas Bellès family continues to make MTB history, with 17 years of passion and commitment. We’re proud of this great team!

We want to thank all our sponsors, mechanics, physiotherapists, and “bigotet” for all these days and once again congratulate the organizers, volunteers, and all the South Africans.

Stage 6: The Penultimate Stage

STAGE VICTORY FOR TESSA AND MÓNICA!  An incredible stage from start to finish, they led the race and made a significant dent in the overall standings, already close to the podium. Congratulations, girls!

These girls’ performances are unspeakable. On stage 3, they lost a lot of time in the general classification, but that didn’t dampen their morale. Instead, they went out to completely destroy the race, not only taking the stage win but also cutting time to within just over five minutes of the podium in the general classification. Nothing is decided here until the Cape Epic ends, so anything can happen tomorrow. Incredible day for Chiaro and Peeter with a P9 in today’s stage, finally reaching the long-awaited top 10. Stefanie and Contanza had a great day with their best result so far, P7.

Results:

UCI WOMEN
P1 (General P4) Monica and Tessa

Stage 7: Final Stage

And a second consecutive stage win for our girls, fighting until the last second for the overall, which was two minutes away. THEY NEVER STOPPED FIGHTING.

Impressive Cape Epic 2025. We’ll be back with more next season!
