Two victories and two championships for Cannondale VAS Arabay

This past Sunday, two ambassadors from the Cannondale VAS Arabay team sponsored by ISB Sport became winners in two different championships: Mónica Calderón in the Pan-American XCM and Roberto Bou in the Aragón XCO.

On Sunday, our rider Mónica Calderón became the champion of the Pan-American XCM category. The race took place in the Colombian town of Santa Rosa de Cabal. Mónica prevailed over the other participants in a challenging 72km course with 2100 meters of elevation gain to claim the final victory. This triumph is significant as the best marathon specialists were present in the race. For Mónica, the joy was twofold as it was her first time participating in a Pan-American championship.

Roberto Bou also became the champion of the Aragón XCO on Sunday in the town of Calamocha, Teruel. XCO is not a discipline that our rider Roberto Bou usually focuses on, but his excellent form this year, coupled with his excitement and motivation to race at home, pushed him to give his all and push himself during the 1:07-hour race. The ISB Sport ambassador proved to be up to the challenge of a truly technical circuit, with banked turns, jumps, and even rock gardens that required the riders to stay alert during the 5 laps (plus the Start Lap). Roberto stayed in a group of 3 riders until he attacked with 2 laps remaining to secure the victory and become the new champion of Aragón in XCO.

Undoubtedly, it was a great weekend for the Cannondale VAS Arabay team.
