03 Giu Cannondale ISB Sport Makes Its Mark at the UCI HERO Marathon in Andorra
Power and consistency in the heights of Andorra
Cannondale ISB Sport once again showcased their talent and commitment at a top-tier event: the UCI HERO Marathon in Naturland, Andorra. With a demanding 63 km course and over 2,050 meters of elevation gain, the race proved to be a true physical and mental challenge for all riders. Organized by Ocisport, the event delivered a spectacular day of racing in the heart of the Andorran Pyrenees.
Standout performance from the women’s squad
The women’s team delivered a solid and competitive performance. Tessa put in a strong ride to finish 8th, followed closely by Mónica in 9th, and Costanza Fasoli, who crossed the line in 11th. On a technical and punishing course, the three riders showed grit, consistency, and excellent form—establishing the women’s squad as one of the most reliable forces on the circuit.
The men’s team answered with strength
The men’s lineup also rose to the occasion. Martí Aran rode a steady and smart race to claim 20th place, Peeter Prus followed in 30th, and Jorge Lamiel finished 46th after a gutsy performance. Despite a promising start, Chiarini was forced to abandon due to stomach issues.
Next stop: Italy
The team now shifts its focus to Italy, where they will compete in the European XCM Championships. From ISB Sport, we’ll keep pushing alongside them—ready for the next challenge and hungry for more great results.
