Chronicle of the Da-Tor/ISB Team, ambassador of ISB SPORT
First race of the new season Three cyclists from the Da-Tor/ISB team werein Liguria, competing in the fifteenth edition of the Gf Città di Loano, the opening race of the amateur road cycling calendar.
The race was also the first round of the Trofeo Loabikers circuit, a competition that featured a single 104.5-kilometer route (1,617 meters above sea level) that wound almost entirely through the Ligurian hinterland, almost to the ridge of the Maritime Alps, on the border with Piedmont.
The start was at 9:30 a.m., following the historic Via Aurelia to Albenga, then taking the Valle Arroscia road and then Ortovero and Costa Bacelega. The summit of Onzo (398 meters), Colle Scravaion (865 meters), and finally, the short climb that took the cyclists from Toirano and Bossano, were still to be completed. Our athletes performed excellently, with Simone Impellizzeri taking a brilliant fourth place. Andrea Miotto also finished in the top ten overall, concluding his first race of 2026, taking seventh place and winning his Veteran A category. In the top ten, Alessandro Giraudo (29th) finished ninth among the Senior A categories.
