First points for the Pertamina Mandalika Gas Up Racing Team at the opening race in Qatar

The Pertamina Mandalika Gas Up Racing Team, representing ISB Sport, has burst onto the Moto2 World Championship scene, scoring valuable points during the opening race at the Lusail Circuit. Bo Bendsneyder crossed the finish line in fourteenth position, while Jaume Masiá was twenty-fifth.
Bendsneyder, who started from the sixth row of the grid, made an impressive race from the start, climbing positions lap after lap and reaching tenth position. He put in an outstanding performance and remained within the first group of the race until the final laps, completing the weekend in fourteenth position.
Meanwhile, Jaume Masiá demonstrated his skill until he crossed the finish line. The young rider from Algemesí completed his first race in the intermediate category, fighting incessantly for positions, this being his first contact with the race. Undoubtedly a valuable sum of experience for the next world championship events, where we are sure that he will achieve the proposed goals.

This concludes the first race of the Moto2 World Championship for the Pertamina Mandalika Gas Up Racing Team, which is preparing to face new challenges with confidence and determination in this 2024, with Bendsneyder and Masiá leading the way. The next round of the Moto2 World Championship will take place in two weeks’ time at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, March 22-24.
