Chronicle of the Da-Tor/Isb team, ambassador of ISB SPORT
The gran fondo that takes place on the same gravel roads ridden by the great champions of world cycling.
On Sunday, March 8, the GF Strade Bianche for amateurs was held, featuring two different routes. The race started from the Fortezza Medicea, and the finish line arch was set in the splendid setting of Piazza del Campo. Riders could choose between the long route of 137.7 km (with 2,000 meters of elevation gain and 10 gravel sectors) or the shorter route of 87 km (with 1,350 meters of elevation gain and 6 gravel sectors).

In the long course, our Simone Impellizzeri performed brilliantly, finishing this fascinating race in 4th place overall, winning his Elite Master category (19–29 years). Also riding strongly was Andrea Miotto (69th overall), finishing 4th among the Master 3 category (40–44). The Da-Tor/Isb team colors were also well represented by Antonio Lorenzo (72nd, M6), Andrea Longobardi (194th, M6), Alessio Fumagalli (294th, M2) and Cristian Testa (385th, M6).In the Medio Fondo, Diego Colombo (1028th overall) placed 151st in the Master 3 category (40–44 years).
Staying within the Da-Tor/Isb team, but moving to the off-road sector, Marco Pellegatta (97th overall) competed on the Marathon course (62 km with 1,700 m of elevation gain) at the Bardolino Bike race.
