DOUBLE VICTORIES FOR THE FACTORY TEAM IN ANDORRA

SUB-23 PODIUM FOR JOFRE AND OVERALL VICTORY FOR FERRANAT THE SCOTT MARATHON CUP!! The ISB – Cyclistwork Factory Team enjoyed an intense weekend of racing in Andorra, where its riders competed in two of the most prestigious events on the international MTB Marathon calendar: the XCM World Cup and the Scott Marathon Cup. In a highly demanding environment, the team once again demonstrated its competitiveness, securing two victories and delivering a strong performance in the sport’s highest category. ISB SPORT’s commitment to talent continues to be reinforced by the excellent season being enjoyed by its Factory Team.

International experience at the XCM World Cup

The XCM World Cup was contested over a demanding 63-kilometre course with more than 2,200 metres of elevation gain, on a highly technical and physically challenging terrain typical of the Andorran high mountains. Jaume delivered a very consistent race from start to finish. The narrow opening section caused numerous bottlenecks during the first kilometres, affecting the progress of many participants. Despite this, he managed the situation intelligently, steadily recovered positions and completed an outstanding performance that earned him 54th place in the elite category. Meanwhile, Txell approached the race with the objective of continuing to build race rhythm following her injury. However, still in the process of recovery, she was forced to withdraw before completing the course. The rider will continue working to fully regain her form and return to the highest competitive level.

Jofre and Ferran shine at the Scott Marathon Cup

The day also brought excellent news for the team at the Scott Marathon Cup, contested over a 41-kilometre course with 1,500 metres of elevation gain. Jofre delivered a very consistent and solid performance that allowed him to take victory in the Under-23 category, confirming both his progression and his excellent form with a hard-earned win. The standout performance came from Ferran, who once again demonstrated the exceptional level he has been showing throughout the season. The ISB – Cyclistwork Factory Team rider dominated the race with authority to claim the overall victory in the general classification, prevailing in a competition of the highest level.

A team in constant growth

The results achieved in Andorra reflect the excellent work the team has been carrying out throughout the season. Beyond the victories, participation in top-level international competitions continues to provide valuable experience and strengthen the sporting development of a structure that keeps evolving race after race.  The ISB – Cyclistwork Factory Team now looks ahead to the next events on the calendar with renewed motivation following a weekend that delivered highly positive results and strong sensations throughout the team.

ISB SPORT MTB BEARINGS, A KEY FACTOR IN COMPETITION!

Behind every result there is also a constant process of technical development and component selection capable of meeting the demands of high-level MTB racing. The ISB – Cyclistwork Factory Team relies on different solutions from the ISB SPORT Cycling range to maximize the performance and reliability of its bicycles throughout the season. In the suspension system, the team uses VMAX bearings, a range specifically developed for swingarms, linkage systems and pivot points. Thanks to their Full Ball design, increased load capacity and high resistance to impacts and torsional forces, these bearings deliver the performance required to tackle demanding courses such as those found at the XCM World Cup and the Scott Marathon Cup. The wheels, meanwhile, are equipped with Endurance BO FCNC bearings, a solution designed to combine smooth rolling performance, protection and durability. The incorporation of Black Oxide Coating technology improves resistance to corrosion and harsh conditions, while the sealing configuration optimizes rolling efficiency without compromising reliability—key aspects in competitions where every detail can make the difference.
