Catalan Ultramarathon Championship: Team Sweep and the Jersey Stays Home
This weekend, the team competed in the demanding Catalonia Ultramarathon Championship, a true MTB race featuring a grueling 138 km course with over 3,000 m of cumulative elevation gain. A route marked by abundant singletrack, constant physical strain, and the sheer toughness of pure mountain biking.
From the very start of the race, Sergio and Ferran set a blistering pace that allowed them to break away from the rest of the field. The two rode in the lead for practically the entire day, and after more than 7 hours of racing, they crossed the finish line together, taking 1st and 2nd place, respectively.
With this outstanding performance, the team has ensured that the champion’s jersey stays at home for another year.
Meanwhile, Ignasi, who is still dealing with an injury that prevents him from pedaling normally, once again demonstrated his character and managed to finish the race, enjoying both the experience and the course
