25 Mag ISB WINS AT THE ANDALUCIA BIKE RACE
Victory and podiums for Team ISB in the Andalucía Bike Race 2021
From May 17 to 22, the 11th edition of the Andalucía Bike Race, an international competition for couples of the new UCI MTB Marathon Series marathon circuit, was held in the towns of Jaén and Córdoba, with ISB as a prominent sponsor and Mountain Prize in each stage. The bearing brand also participated with 7 couples with different roles in the race.
Team ISB dominates the mixed duo classification
Anna Jördens and Raúl Hernández triumphed in the mixed final general classification after a very intense fight with the couple formed by Ada Xinxo and Alejandro Franco. As of the third stage, both couples of Team ISB surpassed the duo formed by Ramona Gabriel and Antonio Moreno; then they had a nice battle between each other. Xinxo and Franco became leaders in the fourth stage but Jördens and Hernández achieved two great results in the fifth and sixth days, taking the final victory. Unforgettable double for the ISB team in a mixed duo.
Team ISB podium in Master 40
The M40 category met the initial expectations in this edition of the Andalucía Bike Race. The couple formed by Juan Pedro Trujillo and Francisco Javier Macías had no rival for the first position and after them there have been a fierce battle between several couples. Among them, Paco López de Gea and Marc Real from Team ISB would surpassed the rivals in each stage and got the second place in the general classification. The other ISB Team couple formed by Juanma Personal and Francesc Sabiote, could not get the Top10, finishing in a remarkable 11th place of 54 couples.
After this event, ISB heads to the next XCM event; From June 25 to 27, La Rioja Bike Race arrives.
