09 Giu Sarah and Elisa shine at the 2025 Stelvio Santini
Passion, power, and a standout performance in the heights of amateur cycling
Cycling is all about legs, mind, and heart. And that’s exactly what Sarah Palfrader and Elisa Colombo showed in the grueling 2025 Stelvio Santini, one of the most iconic gran fondo events on the Italian cycling calendar
In this 13th edition, held as part of the bicentennial celebration of the legendary Passo dello Stelvio, more than 1,800 riders from 50 countries gathered in the mountain passes of the Valtellina to tackle one of the toughest routes in European endurance cycling. And among them, our riders delivered a performance to remember.
On the Long route (124 km), featuring the punishing climbs of Rogorbello, the legendary Mortirolo, and Stelvio itself, Sarah Palfrader rode with the best: she finished 73rd overall (out of 748 finishers), 6th in the women’s general classification, and took the top spot in her category (W5). A true display of strength, stamina, and race smarts on one of the most demanding terrains in long-distance cycling.
Meanwhile, in the Medium route (108 km), which combined the timed ascents of Rogorbello and Stelvio, Elisa Colombo also made her mark: she crossed the line in 66th position overall out of 337 participants, climbed onto the podium as third-fastest woman, and secured an excellent second place in her category (EWs).
These results clearly reflect the commitment and potential of the Team Da-Tor women. Congratulations, champions!
Keep riding with that same determination. Stelvio now knows your names.
