2025 Gravel World Championships: SCOTT Cala Bandida’s Experience and Commitment to the Spanish National Team Limburg, Netherlands
The SCOTT Cala Bandida team concluded its participation in the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships with the satisfaction of having been part of the elite Spanish national team, represented by José Mari Sánchez and Enrique Morcillo. The event, held in Zuid-Limburg, brought together the world’s best specialists on a 180-kilometer course characterized by its challenging gravel sections, continuous climbs, and a very high pace from the start. Under these conditions, José Mari Sánchez was the highest-placed rider for the national team, finishing in 53rd position, while Enrique Morcillo crossed the finish line in 119th place after a demanding race from start to finish.
Although the results don’t reflect the level and ambition with which the team arrived at the event, the overall assessment is positive: the SCOTT Cala Bandida riders showed commitment, dedication, and pride in representing the national team against top-level international competition.
This World Championship reinforces the team’s experience on the international stage and serves as motivation to continue growing in the gravel discipline, in which SCOTT Cala Bandida has had a solid and consistently improving season.
