The 2023 season has been very exciting for SCOTT Cala Bandida, ambassador of ISB Sport. After the team’s first year with great success, this second year the team has consolidated its position, proving that it has great weight in elite cycling in our country.
The year didn´t start in the best way due to small injuries that marked the beginning of the season. But if there is one thing that our bandidos have shown this year, it is their struggle and effort to try to recover from adversity, managing to finish with great achievements such as the Spanish XCM Championship.
Sergio Mantecón stood out once again, winning the Spanish XCM Championship for the second consecutive year. Other outstanding victories of Sergio were Colina Triste or the victory in one of the stages of the Titan Desert Morocco. Not forgetting the call-up with the national team to represent Spain in the XCM World Championship and the World Gravel Championship.
If anything left us breathless this season was the well-deserved position of Jose Mari Sanchez in the World Gravel, getting to be the second best Spanish classified or the 8th place in the queen stage of the Cape Epic at the hands of Jose Mari and Mantecón. Also to highlight the victory of Pablo Guerrero in the queen stage of the Titan Desert Almeria, the second place of Miquel Faus in the Gravel Llutxent or the victory of Francesc Guerra in the Catalan XCM championship.
All in all, the SCOTT CALA BANDIDA, ambassador of ISB SPORT 2023 season has been an exciting journey full of exciting competitions and unforgettable moments.
