ISB SPORT VMAX bearings have been specifically developed for the entire main pivot assembly, including the swingarm, linkages, and shock absorber. Their main difference compared to a conventional bearing lies in their “Full Ball” design, a configuration that eliminates the traditional cage used to separate the balls. Thanks to this solution, the bearing can accommodate a greater number of balls, significantly increasing the contact surface area and overall load capacity. In addition, the bearing raceways feature a deeper groove design, improving lateral support against torsional and multidirectional forces—an especially important characteristic in modern mountain bikes. The result is a bearing engineered to withstand extreme loads and continuous movement in conditions where the suspension system is constantly operating at its limits.
UP TO 40% HIGHER LOAD CAPACITY
One of the key advantages of VMAX bearings is their increased load capacity compared to a standard bearing. Thanks to their specific construction, this range can achieve between 35% and 40% greater load capacity than conventional steel bearings from the standard series. In addition, the amount of grease inside the bearing is maximized to improve lubrication and prevent noise or loss of smoothness in suspension operation.
