Second podium for the rider from La Vila Joiosa – Néteo, ambassador of ISB Sport, in his return to competition after winning the La Rioja Bike Race. Felipe Orts, from less to more, has managed to complete a great comeback after a puncture in the first lap to add a new place of honor in this eventful mountain bike season.
The Horta Velodrome hosted this morning the start of the Copa Catalunya Internacional de Barcelona. The rider from Alicante, in a great form, sought to impose his law from the early stages of the race. Felipe Orts was unlucky again before completing the first turn with a puncture that made him lose many positions.
Far from giving up, the cyclist from La Vila found again his sensations to progressively overtake riders in a very technical circuit until he reached the second position. With the silver medal secured, Orts tried to cut an insurmountable gap with Cristofer Bosque, who ended up winning.
