Two category victories, with Mariani in the top ten Engagement in the Pavia area, for a group of athletes from the Team Da-Tor/Isb of Lecco, engaged in the Gf of Casteggio competition that “pays homage” to the territories Oltrepò Pavese hills.
The Granfondo di Casteggio was proposed with two routes capable of satisfying even the most demanding. Both the proposed routes in fact, both the long one of 106km and 2020m elevation gain and the medium one of 67km and 1260m positive, entertained the numerous cyclists who showed up at the starting departure.
In the Long comes the 12th place overall of Matteo Molteni, an athlete who took third place in the Junior category. Also doing very well was Aldo Barone (18th overall) winner among Veterans A. Also closing this experience at the Casteggio Gf. Massimiliano Bellaria (37th) fifth among Veterans B.
In the Medium enters the top ten overall, our own Andrea Mariani, with the cyclist finishing eighth overall, taking the victory in the Senior A bracket. In the fifty overall, Filippo Longobardi (27th) and Davide Pacchiardo (44th) respectively 14th.
Junior and ninth in the Senior A. In the category top ten also Marco Tagliabue (62nd) and Alessandro Castellanelli (73^) fifth and seventh in Veterans A. A plaudits also to Mirko Iacona (107^) eighteenth Senior A.
