A new and exciting edition of the single-brand R3 Cup, considered by Yamaha as “the jewel in the crown” in terms of trophy, a competition from which the best riders emerge every year and which has always been organized for the Italian subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Europe by AG Motorsport Italia.
The launch pad for the FIM Yamaha R3 bLU cRU World Cup, for the ninth year, brings together all the young riders passionate about the three tuning forks, ready to give the best of themselves on the track and to experience the exclusive activities reserved for the bLU cRU juniors, which include an opening day with track sessions reserved for members, the exclusive experience at the most famous Ranch in Italy, World SBK guest passes to experience the world of Yamaha Racing, and even a Pata Snack Party at all races, suspension training and much more.
The participants will line up at the most beautiful circuits in Italy (Misano, Mugello and Vallelunga) to compete for the Italian Yamaha R3 Cup title, but not only, some of them will be the representatives of our country, under the name “YAMAHA R3 CUP ITALIA”, ready to challenge the best R3 Cup riders from other countries. At stake for the winner of the first place in the Superfinal will be the support of Yamaha for the following year.
The bLU cRU is a project strictly reserved for young riders, and the Yamaha R3 cup is the “compulsory” start of a path that involves not only amateurs who want to have fun riding their R3, but also offers a great opportunity to those who want to reach world competitions. The Yamaha R3 cup allows riders to grow up with the right awareness and a proper background of experience, to compete safely in the world championship categories, with demonstrable results over the years, with numbers and names known worldwide. The Yamaha Junior Project is distinguished by the distinctive round logo flanking the trophy, with the unmistakable letters bLU cRU inside.
Once again this year, the trophy features a low-cost entry fee, which includes an equipment and service kit for the riders.
At the end of the season, the spectacular awards ceremony at Eicma is eagerly awaited by the pilots. For the past two years, the winners of the Yamaha r3 cup trophy have been the protagonists on the central dais of the Yamaha Motor Europe stand, in the company of world champions and Yamaha Ambassadors, and another award ceremony is crowned at Motor Bike Expo, where the protagonists are the teams and riders of the special classifications, surrounded by an exclusive and prestigious environment.
