31 Jan CANNONDALE TBELLES AT COSTA BLANCA BIKE RACE
From January 26 to 29, 2023 Calpe (Alicante) has played a new edition of Costa Blanca Bike Race. An event for lovers of trails and trialeras in which excitement was more than guaranteed. The Cannondale TBelles Team, ambassadors of ISB Sport, have participated in this edition.
STAGE 1 COSTA BLANCA BIKE RACE
The Cannondale TB team starts the season with very good feelings in the team. It is aware that there is still room for improvement but the new project of the team begins to give reasons to be motivated for this season.
STAGE 2 COSTA BLANCA BIKE RACE
Stage 2 of the Costa Blanca Bike Race started at 10:00 from Altea.
The team finished this second stage against the clock with a second consecutive podium reaching the 2nd position Monica Calderón.
There were still 2 stages to continue consolidating the new project at the start of the 2023 season of the ISB Sport ambassadors.
STAGE 3 COSTA BLANCA BIKE RACE
Stage 3 with departure and arrival from Calp. Queen stage marked by the hardness and beauty of the environment. Very technical and demanding stage for everyone but even so the team continued to maintain positions in the general.
Third consecutive podium of Mónica Calderón who was leading much of the stage consolidating in the 2nd position.
STAGE 4 COSTA BLANCA BIKE RACE
Stage 4 with departure and arrival from Calp with 37 km and 1,100 positive meters. An atypical climate in Costa Blanca has marked the day. In this stage all the riders have been winners showing that the cyclists are made of another paste. More than 50 runners have been treated by the organization’s medical assistance with symptoms of hypothermia.
The stage has been carried out under the rain and reaching 2 ° C at some point of the stage. Despite everything, the ISB Sport riders managed to cross the finish line.
Cannondale TBelles finishes with a second place for Monica Calderón in the general after 4 podiums and a very good taste in the mouth with the other riders.
