Exciting performance by Cannondale VAS Arabay at the XCM World Cup!
ISB Sport ambassadors from the Cannondale VAS Arabay team, Roberto Bou and Greete Steinburg, have made their mark in an exhilarating Marathon World Cup race. The challenging 97 km circuit, with a 3696-meter elevation gain, tested their skills and determination.
Roberto Bou started a bit behind, but proved his worth by making his way up the ranks and securing the seventh position at the last climb. Despite a highly technical final descent that cost him a few places, he crossed the finish line in an admirable eleventh place.
On the other hand, Greete Steinburg had an excellent start, maintaining a strong position in the race. However, a harsh fall when three-quarters of the race had already passed forced her to retire.
The competition was filled with high-level athletes, the world’s finest marathon specialists, who are gearing up for the major events of the year, such as the European Championships and other World Cups. For ISB Sport ambassadors, having the opportunity to compete in these World Cup races is an indescribable honor.
