Last Sunday, November 6, the Spanish skater and ISB Sport ambassador of only 17 years old, Carla Martín, on her own merits and asserting her good result in the qualifiers, has managed to win the gold medal of the vert modality of roller freestyle in the World Skate Games of Argentina. Which makes her the new vert world champion and one of the youngest world champions in the history of this sport.
In addition, the bronze medal went to the young Eneritz Quincoces, teammate of Carla Martín, while the silver medal was taken by the Asian Sorachi Kawasaki, who surprised everyone by her young age.
With this gold for Spain, the Spaniards already have a total of 11 gold medals, 8 silver and 5 bronze in a World Skate Games in which we are seeing great performances of Spanish athletes.
