26 Feb COMMITMENT OF THE DA-TOR-ISB SPORT TEAM AT LAIGUEGLIA
One victory, two second places, with five other athletes in the top ten.
A very good balance for the Da-Tor-ISB Sport team of Lecco, with the formation of president Mauro Cesana, who descended en masse to Liguria to participate in the Granfondo Internazionale Laigueglia, first race of the Trofeo Gs Alpi circuit, an event organized for the first time in 1999. Many athletes at the start of this 2024 edition with the athletes committed to the 112 km (dsl of 1700 m) of a decidedly nervous course, with the group, which in the initial stretch, passed on the historic Via Aurelia of Laigueglia.
The best of our team was Andrea Miotto, seventeenth overall, finishing second in his category of Veterans 1.
Five other athletes from the Da-Tor- ISB Sport team finished in the top fifty overall. Twenty-first place went to Andrea Mariani (eighth Senior 1), who crossed the finish line ahead of Riccardo Zacchi, eighth Senior 2. In 37th place was Christian Martinelli (fourth among the Veterans 1), five places ahead of Daniele Mario Rainoldi (12th Junior), and Francesco Figini tenth among the Senior 2.
Before highlighting the other results of “our” youngsters, a note of merit for Luigi Filipazzi (122nd overall) winner among the Supergentlemen A, and Paolo Montini (69th overall) second among the Gentlemen 1.
Also finishing in the top 100 were Aldo Barone (54th and 5th Veterans 1), Matteo Moltoni (72nd and 25th Junior), Filippo Longobardi (85th and 27th Junior) and Federico Brevi (95th and 18th Senior 2).
