22 May Double podium in the Spanish marathon championship
On Sunday the Spanish championship of the XCM Marathon modality was played in the hard circuit of Jerez de los Caballeros with 87 kilometers and 2,100 meters of positive slope.
On the part of the ambassadors of ISB Sport, the Cannondale VAS Arabay, all the riders in the elite category have been present with Roberto Bou, Miguel Muñoz, Francisco Herrero and Raúl Bermúdez. A test where the strongest teams in the country have been with their best riders.
The course of the race has been as expected, a very high pace from the beginning that has selected the race a lot with several of our riders in the first positions of the test. Until the final part of the race the test has not been decided where Miguel Muñoz and Roberto Bou have been the only ones who have been able to follow the strong pace and have finished the championship in second and third position respectively a few seconds from the winner. For his part, Francisco Herrero has made a very good championship finishing in eleventh position. Raúl Bermúdez finished in 19th position.
The Cannondale VAS Arabay leaves the Spanish championships with good feelings, 2 riders on the podium and the 4 riders among the 20 best national riders. Although the goal of the ISB Sport ambassador team was to get the highest step of the podium, the team leaves with good feelings of the test.
