12 Oct ISB SPORT AT TITAN DESERT ALMERÍA
On October 7 the Titan Desert Almería began, one of the most iconic mountain bike events in Spain. This adventure has great popularity among cycling lovers that is the reason why it has a participation of 280 cyclists who will enter to a thrilling adventure in the desert of Tabernas that will take them to their limits during five days of competition. For this event the ISB Sport team represents Patxi Cía, Josep Betalú and Fran Herrero who will use X-Force bearings designed to give the best performance to athletes.
Our riders got a splendid starting position, Patxi Cía got the first place with a time of 19:28 minutes, Betalú started in fourth position and Herrero ninth. Being in the top ten in the Elite category is not an easy task, but with the talent of our cyclists and the help of the X-Force bearings we have achieved a great time.
The competition has been really exciting and has left some great battles between the cyclists. Patxi Cía left one of the most memorable moments of the stages helping another competitor in the main stage and crossing the finish line in third position. In the last stage the trio of ISB Sport ambassadors starred in a memorable getaway that finally ended with the second position of Betalú. Finally, our ambassadors have been able to position themselves among the top 15 of the Elite category, Patxi with a good ninth position, Betalú twelfth and Herrero in fifteenth place. In the general classification they have positioned themselves in the Top 20.
From ISB Sport we want to thank our fantastic athletes for these five days of excitement and pure mountain biking that they have offered us.
